LEGO’s kicking off May with an old fan favorite that’s finally making a return, the UCS TIE Interceptor! Originally released a whopping 24 years ago, this new set brings the same eye catching details as it’s predecessor, though with a more modern spin on it’s features and building techniques. Releasing suitably on May the 4th, this set will run at $229.99, and includes almost three times the original piece count of 703, coming in at 1931 total pieces. Early access for the set begins on May 1st, at midnight.

Droideka

Adding to the droid lineup alongside the Imperial Probe Droid, a larger Droideka releases this May as well. With the original having been released two decades ago just like the TIE Interceptor, this will make a welcome edition to many builders collections. The set will be retailing for $64.99, and includes just 16 additional pieces compared to it’s original release. Due to it’s smaller nature, I think the price fits well with what you get. The Droideka will be available to purchase May 1st.

Brickheadz

Phantom Menace

Continuing to grow their Brickheadz arsenal, LEGO has also revealed a set that includes multiple characters from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Coming in at $54.99, this set is priced practically at just 5 1/2 individual Brickheadz stuck together in one box, which is standard at this point (though perhaps a slight discount would be nice). The set will be available May 1st.

Commander Cody

Commander Cody has also arrived in Brickheadz form with his iconic orange striped armor, going for the standard $9.99 price tag and available May 1st.

Pod Racer Diorama

Finally, LEGO is also releasing another diorama, this time of the memorable pod-racing sequence from the first Star Wars sequel, The Phantom Menace. Like the other dioramas, this one will run you a bit higher at $79.99, which admittedly is a bit steep. Sales don’t seem to be frequent for these (unless you’re lucky enough to find one in-store), and so if you’re looking to pick it up, it could be unlikely that you find it at a discounted rate down the line. This will be available on May 1st.

Which one of these sets do you think you’ll be picking up?
